R449A, also known as Opteon XP40, isa refrigerant blend primarily used as a replacement for R404A and R507 in low and medium temperature refrigeration systems.It is a non-flammable, non-ozone depleting refrigerant with a lower global warming potential (GWP) than the refrigerants it replaces.
